Privacy Policy

Frame & File (also written Frame and File) is an app that is part of Tenon Desk, a broader software product and service. Both Frame & File and Tenon Desk are created by Made Simple Software, a trade name used by Made Simple Games LLC. In this policy, “we” refers to Made Simple Games LLC doing business as Made Simple Software. Privacy requests may be sent to request@frameandfile.app.

The mobile app may process photos, camera input, captions, annotations, project names, report settings, and location context that you choose to add. Local project content remains on your device unless you use an explicit export, share, backup, or future synchronization feature.

Device operating systems control camera, photo library, and location permissions. You may change those permissions in device settings.

If you create an account or later enable web and cloud features, we may process the email address you verify, passkey credential identifiers, linked Apple or Google account identifiers, account status, session records, connected-device information, and the projects you deliberately select to synchronize.

Cloud and web capabilities are not part of the initial mobile-only release. This policy will be updated with final retention and synchronization details before those features become generally available.

Apple or Google processes your payment details. We may receive subscription status, product identifier, renewal or expiration state, and provider transaction identifiers needed to unlock paid features and support purchases. Frame & File does not receive complete payment-card numbers.

We may process limited device, app version, purchase verification, request, crash, and error information to operate, secure, and improve the service. We minimize logs and do not intentionally place raw store receipts, authentication secrets, or customer photos in diagnostic logs.

• Provide app features, purchase verification, exports, support, and future account services.
• Protect accounts, prevent fraud and abuse, and investigate service failures.
• Meet tax, accounting, legal, and app-store obligations.
• Improve reliability and accessibility using aggregated operational information.

Information is disclosed only as needed to operate the service, including to Apple or Google for store billing, Cloudflare for service delivery and future hosting, professional advisers, and authorities when lawfully required. We do not sell personal information or use customer content for targeted advertising.

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of personal information. You may also object to certain processing. To make a request, email request@frameandfile.app. We may need to verify that the request concerns you.

Frame & File is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the product and legal requirements change. Material updates will be identified by a new effective date and any additional notice required by law.
